The area around Clarissa Resort is a nature lover's ultimate reward - wild and dense forest starts right outside. The natural and man-made trails will take you as deep inside as you may dare to go. We offer our guests Nature walks with our naturalists to enjoy the beauty of the forests. You can also book Jungle Safari by jeep to visit Corbett Jungles.

Wildlife Trail Hanuman Dham

Hanuman Dham, devoted to Lord Hanuman, is situated in Ramnagar in the midst of quiet and peaceful surroundings. The design of the divine sanctuary is awe inspiring in appearance both inside and outside. This notable vacation destination has an angled passage to the sanctuary that delineates two fishes on the portal symbolizing fortune and flourishing. It gives a terrific chhatri kind of appearance in a ious leveled way on elaborate sections. The Hanuman Dham houses a sitting area, contemplation corridors and lift for specially abled people. A very serene and spiritual place.

Wildlife Trail Corbett Museum & Falls

Jim Corbett's home at Kaladungi, around 37 kilometers on Nainital road is now a museum that houses memorabilia of the legendry Jim Corbett. En-route are Corbett falls, which is an ideal place for day picnics. A very picturesque road takes you to the museum, about an hour’s drive from Clarissa.

Wildlife Trail Garjia Temple and Dhangadi Museum

Around 20 kilometers from the Resort is a huge rock jutting out of Kosi riverbed and on the pinnacle is the beautiful temple of Durga Devi named as Garjia. A place good for bathing, basking and worship, it has an enchanting view of river Kosi from the top. Little ahead is Dhangadi museum which exhibits wonderful animal taxidermy including that of tigers.

Wildlife Trail Lake District of Nainital

Nainital is just two hours away and can be looked as a day trip. Boating options are available in Naini Lake and the Mall Road is an ideal place to take a stroll and shop. Cost for Safari and Excursions: A vehicle of your choice can be arranged at nominal cost, else you may choose to take your own vehicle (except for safari which is through government-approved jeeps only).
